The Gas chair collection is a very personal design project by Jesus Gasca. The Gas chair collection offers a complete range of seating options, from the occasional chair to the armchair, including the task chair and the swivel chair.
Jesus Gasca describes the goals he set when creating the Gas collection: "At STUA we dreamed of the future and imagined a chair with fluid lines, as light as gas."
That is why every joint, every edge and every curve is resolved with uncompromising attention to detail. The frame is made of aluminum, chrome-plated with a glossy or matte finish, or powder-coated in black or white. The Gas chair has been selected as one of the most comfortable chairs in the world.
The seat and back are available in polypropylene or upholstered.
The back can also be made in textile mesh.

Design: Jesus Gasca
The design of the Gas chair is visionary. Jesus Gasca's objective when creating this chair was to design the most beautiful and lightest frame that could accept any type of material for the seat and back.
- SURFACES: Jesus Gasca sought to design the most comfortable surface to accommodate the human body. The seat and back are therefore curved into three-dimensional surfaces whose sole purpose is the comfort of the seated person.
- ALUMINUM: the entire chair frame is made of injected and extruded aluminum. Lightweight and recyclable.
- SHAPES: the shapes of the aluminum structure are mated to avoid any welding.
- SEAT AND BACK: the seat and back can be covered in polypropylene, fabric or leather.
- MESH BACK: the back has the option of being made in mesh, which keeps it lightweight and is a breathable material.
