When Peter Opsvik designed the HÅG Capisco chair, he went beyond the stereotypes of the sitting position by creating a chair that offers unconventional positions. In the 1970s many ergonomics experts attempted to define the notion of a “good sitting position”. Peter Opsvik contributed by designing a unique chair that allows movement in different positions. The HÅG Capisco / Capisco Puls or the Tripp Trapp chair are examples of success in this field. Designed in 1984, the popularity of the HÅG Capisco has grown over time to become one of the most popular work chairs in Europe.
