The design poetics of Sou Fujimoto, one of the leading designers of contemporary architecture, meets the technological lightness of Alias, for which he creates a bookstore, a library for the home characterised by a new and innovative approach.

Inspired by the relationship between architectural space and the human body, the Japanese architect has designed a compact and essential bookcase from which you can pull out a chair. A true object within an object, which underlines the relationship between people and books: after choosing a book, the reader can take the chair and sit down to read it.

The simple and extremely clean configuration of the bookcase is enriched by the soft and sinuous lines of the chair which, depending on the use, can be kept in a space inside the bookcase or, when in use, can be free in the space of the bookcase. In this way, the library becomes an element of the environment in which it is installed, playing an active and constantly evolving role.

The chair is available in a single colour - white - in order to emphasise the abstraction of the product and the strong links between the content and the container, between the container and the user. Available in one size, the office chair is produced in wood fibre panels.

Laclasica is a wooden chair that combines the traditional aesthetics of classic wooden chairs and translates them into a pure, contemporary design.
Made from wood, the Laclasica chair is curved like the human body and mimics its shape to convey sensuality and comfort. It looks as if Laclasica has always been there, but it's a fresh new design, perhaps a sign of timelessness.
The honeycomb seat and back merge with the wooden legs to create a flowing 3D plywood form. Under the seat, an aesthetic aluminium section reinforces the structure.
