Barra combines formal reduction with constructive logic. The tabletop, which appears to float, rests on two solid wood middle rails that support the tabletop and, at their ends, the two pairs of legs. And incidentally: our Numo Task chairs are ‘Made in Germany’ and are assembled in our production plant near Augsburg. Naturally, we use materials from a short supply chain.

In 2018, the Iratzoki & Lizaso design studio and Alki set themselves a challenge: to create an office chair that would respect both the ergonomic codes of this typology and the Alki universe, characterised by softness and affectivity.
